Regular CORW Monthly Meeting
During a question/answer session, some of CORW's published authors share what they've learned through the publishing process.
February 16, 2008 Meeting
Book In Six Weeks Completion & Guest Speaker Linda Cardillo
Members who participated in the BISW (Book in Six Weeks) program, celebrated by showing off the pages they'd written in six weeks. Altogether, 1,650 new pages were written in that short time. Although we didn't reach last year's total of over 2,000 pages, we also noted that we had one week less in the program this year.
Thirteen of the eighteen BISW participants pose with their pink roses. 66% of the CORW members took the challenge to see how much they could write in six weeks.
Harlequin author, and guest speaker (2/16/08), Linda Cardillo, shares what she has learned on her way to publishing three romance novels.

December 15, 2007 Meeting

Speaker: Chris Lemmon
Some CORW members with Chris Lemmon, November's speaker. Chris shared tips on writing memoirs, humorous scenes and writing screenplays. Chris, a writer, actor and producer is the son of legendary actor Jack Lemmon. Chris' memoir/biography/autobiography, A Twist of Lemmon, was published on Father's Day, 2006.
