What
if the fate written in your stars isn't
the one you want?
For those of you who met her (and then
obviously loved her), Vivian
Rising, is inspired by my Grandma
Sylvia, who is pictured (left) with me...a
token from a very wonderful day we shared
(those aren't our real clothes).
|
In
the novel, I wanted to pay homage to the most
fantastic woman I've ever known and to the Brooklyn
she lived in-a Brooklyn that I will always consider
that one safe touchstone I had through the storm
we call life. It's fun; it's a tear-jerker and
it might just help you to see the bright side
when you need to...it's got something for everyone!

Kate Rothwell
announces two new releases.
|
|
Writing
as Kate Rothwell:
Thank You Mrs. M
Thank You Mrs. M got a 4.5 star rating
from Romantic Times.
Romantic
Times' review: "This is a sweet,
funny and emotional tale. This modern take on
Daddy-Long-Legs, by Jean Webster, has wonderful,
fully developed characters. The brief mention
of sexual and drug themes contributes to the
gritty reality of the character's world. This
incredible story will appeal to adult as well
as young readers.'

youre suddenly seeing what hes seeing,
feeling what hes feeling, and its
all hot, sweaty and very R-rated?
Gias
life takes a turn for the bizarre when she develops
a connection with construction worker Will,
and the connection is all sexual. . .."

ABOUT
THIS BOOK
MEET THE REGULARS at the One Trick Pony,
Brooklyn's finest coffeehouse:
|
Jesse
the Player - gorgeous, charming,
and oh-so-irresistible, he goes through
girls quicker than you can say, "Check,
please!"
Abigail
the Poet - quiet and beautiful,
with a heart full of pain, she's scared
that she won't recover from the loss of
her mother.
Randall
the Musician - your typical procrastinator
and über-sensitive emo guitarist,
he can't find the courage to tell Abigail
he loves her.
Kate
the Know-It-All - stunning, overconfident,
and a well-meaning buttinsky, she has
everything figured out, or so she thinks.
|
When
their favorite hangout closes, these four friends
are more adrift than ever before. A mysterious
young Frenchwoman named Caroline Deneuve reopens
the doors of the One Trick Pony. And their lives
will never be the same. |
