The South Windsor Public Library is located just North of the intersection of Routes 30 and 194. The library shares its site (and sign) with the Town Hall. The parking lot is accessible from Route 194 (Sullivan Avenue) and from Petersen Way, and is connected to the parking lot for the Wapping Community Church, which faces the 30/194 intersection.

Directions

From the Springfield area via I-91 South:

• Take Exit 44, Route 5 (South) and follow it to the intersection of Route 194 (Sullivan Ave.).
• Turn left onto Route 194 and follow Sullivan Avenue to the library - approximately 3 miles.

From the New Haven area via I-91 North:

• Take Exit 29 to Route I-84 (East) and follow directions below,
  OR
• Take Exit 35, Route I-291.
• At end of exit, turn right onto Route I-291. Follow Route I-291 across the Bissell Bridge.
• Take Exit 4, Route 5. When the exit ramp forks, follow the left fork (towards Route 5 North) staying in the far right lane.
• Cross the intersection, curving left onto Route 30 (Ellington Road). Follow Route 30 to its intersection with Route 194 (approx. 3 miles).
• Turn left onto Route 194. Library parking lot is the 3rd driveway on right.

From Sturbridge via I-84 West:

• Take Exit 63, Route 30 (Oakland Road).
• Follow Route 30 to the intersection of Routes 30 & 194 (approx. 3 miles).
• Turn right onto Route 194 (Sullivan Avenue). Library parking lot is the 3rd driveway on right.

From Hartford via I-84 East:

• Take Exit 62, Buckland Road.
• At the end of the exit, turn left onto Buckland Road. Follow Buckland Road to the intersection of Routes 30 & 194 (approx. 2 miles).
• Continue across Route 30. Library parking lot is 3rd driveway on right.
